Our Promise:
Fast * Friendly * Affordable Service
Our mission is simple: make computer support friendly and affordable for your home or business. Too many times we have seen other computer support businesses charge too much for their services and treat their customers poorly. That is unacceptable. We aim to treat our customers with the respect they deserve and at a price they can afford. We work around your business and your schedule to cause the least amount of interruption to operations and your life. We see technology as a means to an end, not an end unto itself. Technology is simply a tool that when implemented and maintained properly helps further the communication and operations of your business or home. As your technology partner, we will work hard to help you get the most out of your technology investment. Our aim is to help you succeed because our success clearly depends on yours. The best partnerships are always "win-win" and that's what we strive for.
After 13 years of working for Albertsons at the corporate office, I decided it was time for a change. In March of 2005 I started my own business called Accent Productions & Computer Solutions, providing both computer support, digital video editing and media archival services. While helping people preserve their special memories from photos, video and slides was enjoyable, it was also fairly labor intensive and not that profitable.
In 2010 I decided to concentrate the focus of the business on computer support since that is the area I had experienced the greatest success and saw a real need that I could help satisfy in the marketplace; that is the need for honest, affordable computer technical service and quality support for homes and businesses. I had seen the way that many others were treating their customers. It seemed their focus was on just making a buck without truly having the customers' best interest in mind. I believe in operating by a simple principle: Take Care of the Customer and They Will Take Care of You.
We would love the opportunity to become your new technology partner for your home or business. Give us a call and discover what our current customers have found: Fast, Friendly, and Affordable computer service and tech consulting at unbeatable prices. Call today and find out for yourself.
I got my start in the field of computers and technology back in 1992 after graduating from Boise State University with a degree in Computer Information Systems. Just out of college, I went to work as a Microcomputer Specialist for Albertson's at the corporate headquarters. Over time I developed a reputation for delivering consistently excellent service and being a "go to" guy for many of the departments and offices I served. This reputation led to opportunities for increased responsibility including becoming a senior member of the PC Service team and technical lead for many high profile and enterprise wide projects. Later I joined the IT Security team and learned a lot about how to establish and maintain a secure environment. Not only did I have the privilege of providing security consulting on many projects and third party access requests, but I was also the technical lead on a variety of other high profile projects: VPN remote access, Executive Home Offices for board members and top executives, Windows domain password policy, and ProServer process tool and centralized documentation repository to name a few.
It was an exciting ride and provided lots of valuable experience that I utilize still today.
In March of 2005 I decided to strike out on my own and started my own business. I continued to keep my focus on computers and technology while getting a real education in what its like to operate your own business.
I currently hold the following certifications and continue learning and growing in this fast paced and ever changing field.
* Microsoft Certified Prof.
* A+ Certified IT Tech.
I also hold a degree in Business Management from the University of Idaho. All of this experience and education, I believe makes our service offering that much better. I like to think of myself as a customer-oriented IT professional with an understanding for the operations and needs of both businesses and homes. Its this kind of customer-oriented approach and professionalism that sets us apart from the competition. Give us a call today and let me show you the Altman Computer Solutions difference.
Sincerely,
Ken Altman, Owner
